
As a graduate of D. J. Government Science College in Karachi, Pakistan with a degree in pre-med inter-science, Dr. Bhatti attended Dow Medical College, also in Karachi to receive his medical degree. He served an internship and residency at the Dow Medical College Civil Hospital, followed by a rotating internship at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. He then completed another residency in anatomical pathology at St. Margaret’s Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, a medical residency at Youngstown Hospital Association, and a fellowship in Oncology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
Dr. Bhatti is board certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology, and he has been practicing medicine in the Mahoning Valley area since 1975. He is a member of the American Medical Assn., the Ohio State Medical Assn., the Mahoning County Medical Society, and the Northeastern Ohio Society of Clinical Oncologists. He also serves as a member of the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP).
Dr. Bhatti is married and has three children. His interests include photography, travel, and music.
